...has declined. There are even some countries where people do not even know what Tantra is, and they wander here and there for the sake of achieving their work and do not achieve success even after spending hundreds of rupees. Considering that one should achieve results with little expense and little effort through Tantra, and with a view to philanthropy, the jewel of the Vaishya lineage, the world-renowned Seth Shri Khemraj Shrikrishnadas, desiring to propagate true ancient Tantras, published several Tantras with vernacular commentaries and continues to do so. Among them, the essence of the 64 Tantras, the "Mahānirvāṇa Tantra," along with the vernacular commentary by Baldev Prasad Mishra, and the "Bāla Tantra" by Ravana, etc., are prominent publications. Among such texts, the "Kāmaratnam" text is very excellent and beneficial to the general public. Sethji sent a written manuscript of this to me and asked for a vernacular commentary. Although that manuscript was particularly inaccurate, because two other books were found, there was no great difficulty in correcting it, and after preparing it with a vernacular commentary, the book was sent for printing.
There is no need to speak about how many subjects are in this text because those subjects are written in detail in its index. However, it is no exaggeration to say that among all the 'Tantras' published until now, this is superior, and almost all subjects are included in it. Another proof of its excellence is that as soon as it was published, this book sold out quickly. Some intolerant, envious, and greedy people were so distressed that they filed a lawsuit in the Bombay government, calling the book obscene. But 'Yato dharmastato jayaḥ' Where there is righteousness, there is victory—the victory of truth, not falsehood, is certain. In the end, the book was proven useful and worthy of publication, and the manager of the Shri Press was victorious.
