"Do not let it fall, do not let it drop; do not let your power be otherwise. 30."
"Be situated right here, O Auspicious One, and become the worker of my tasks.
Upon the success of my task, you shall then go to heaven. 31."
"O Auspicious One! Be situated here and perform my work. Upon the accomplishment of my work, you shall then go to heaven. 31."
"Om Hrīm Chaṇḍe Hūm Phaṭ Svāhā."
With this mantra, on a Sunday during the Pushya constellation or a Pushya-Sun union, one should uproot all medicinal herbs.
"Om Hrīm Kṣauṃ Phaṭ Svāhā."
With this, one should cut the root. This is the procedure for gathering roots.
"Om Vanadaṇḍe Mahādaṇḍāya Svāhā."
"Om Shū (Sūtrī) Drī Kapālamālinī Svāhā."
By reciting each seven times, one should gather the vanda parasitic plant. Then, the work succeeds. (This is the mantra for gathering the vanda.)
"Thus, this is the determination of the seasons for the success of all knowledge, and the procedure for gathering roots and other things has been described here with effort. 32."
