An illuminated headpiece (unwan) frame design. The composition features a rectangular central panel for text, surmounted by a small horizontal cartouche and a large trilobed decorative arch. The entire frame is filled with elaborate floral and foliate scrollwork in a classical Islamic manuscript style.
