are the bands of the Apostles. The angel says: The four-faced images, of the man, of the lion, and so on; and they sing praise to God in the vestibule.
Saint Gregory says: Where is the Divinity original: "ածութիւնն" perceived? The angel says: He is light, unapproachable, and spiritual; no one can see Him.
Saint Gregory says: Is there nothing above Him?
The angel says: The Father, God, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit; and the grace is of the Holy Spirit, which He gives to everyone for the learning of all wisdom.
Saint Gregory says: Is there anything above God?
The angel says: There is nothing above God, for God is He whom everyone believes to be the Creator. And the Lord then [is] the Word who renews; when He was baptized, Christ, the hand of John was upon His crown.
Saint Gregory says: How many heavens are there?
The angel says: 9 heavens.
Saint Gregory says: The ranks of the angels, in which heaven are they?
The angel says: They are 9 luminous enclosures, one above the other, and there the 9 ranks of the angels are established, one above the other; and each one of them ceaselessly glorifies God.
Saint Gregory says: The glory and the illumination that gives to the world, is it from the people, or is it created?
The angel says: The light is common to all.
