seventy thousand burden-bearers, and eighty thousand stone-cutters in the mountain. Not to mention the leaders set over the work, whom the people were working. And the king gave an order to bring great, large stones, and precious stones for the foundation of the house, and unhewn stones; and the sons of Solomon, and the sons of Hiram, and the Byblians prepared them, and prepared the wood and the stones for three years to build the house.

Reading from Proverbs 18

Wisdom laid the foundations of the earth; she prepared the heavens with counsel. By her genius she split the depths, and the clouds poured down rain. My son, do not forsake, but keep my counsel and my wisdom, so that your soul may live, and it shall be healing to your flesh and medicine for your bones. So that you may go with hope and peace in all your ways, and your feet may not stumble; for if you sit, you shall be without fear, and if you sleep, you shall be sweet in your sleep. And you shall not be afraid of terrors coming upon you, or of the raids of the ungodly coming upon you. For the Lord shall be over your ways, and He shall establish your feet so that you may not stumble.

...broken from the mountain of reeds, and below it turned like fire. The place

of the sapphire stones and the soil is gold. It is a path which no bird has known, and the eye of the vulture has not seen it, and the sons of the haughty have not trodden it. The lion has not passed along it. He stretched out his hand against the crag; he overturned the mountains from the foundation. He split the currents of the rivers, and every precious thing he saw with his eye. He revealed the deeps of the rivers, and showed his power to the light. But wisdom, where is it found? And what is the place of genius? Man does not know its way, and it is not found among men. The deeps said that it is not with me, and the sea said that it is not with me. It shall not be given for a pledge, and silver shall not be weighed for its price. It shall not be balanced with the gold of Ophir, and with the precious reed and sapphire. Gold and glass shall not be compared to it, and vessels of gold shall not be its substitute. Heights and depths shall not be remembered, and he stretched out wisdom beyond the things below. And it shall not be equaled to it: the topaz of the Ethiopians, and it shall not be compared with holy gold. But wisdom, where is it found? And what is the place of genius? It is hidden from man, and it was covered from the birds of the sky. Loss and death said, we have heard of its fame. God easily revealed its way.
