chosen priesthood,
a royal nation, a holy
people, a peculiar chosen/distinct
people. So that you may
dedicate your virtues to Him
who called you from darkness
into His wondrous
light. Those who were once
not a people, but now are the
people of God. Those who were not
pitied, now find mercy.
Alleluia. Art. Behold this is the peculiar God in all... in all holy.
Gospel According to Matthew.
At that time, Jesus
answered and said:
I thank you, Father,
Lord of heaven and earth, for
You have hidden these things from the wise
and the learned, and revealed them
to children. Yes, Fa
ther, for this was pleasing
before You. Everything
has been given to Me by My Fa
ther. And no one knows the Son
except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son, and to whomever the Son wills to reveal Him.
Come to Me, all you who are
weary and burdened and
I will give you rest.
Take My yoke upon you
and learn from Me, for I
am gentle and humble in heart,
and you will find rest
for your souls. For My
yoke is sweet and My burden
is light. And the deacon shall proclaim the litany, and concerning the guiding and filling of the prayers, he says:
We thank You and
we beseech Your abundant
humanity, Lord
our God, that You may receive
our prayers and our supplica
tions, and [for] all the
people. And send Your holy,
sanctifying, and
life-creating Spirit upon
these tables and churches. Holy
and awesome and glori
fied. The place dedicated
to Your awesome
name, always and ever
glorified in it. The all-holy
Trinity, now and always. Peace be to all.
You who are awesome and
glorified by all creatures,
You have humbled Yourself
among us. Before You stands
this congregation. Receive
our requests in this temple
of Your holiness. And
make it worthy of dedica
tions and sacrifices,
and the acceptance of petitions
for all those who trust, so that in it we may alway
glorify the all-holy
Trinity, the Father

Hear me, for I speak
virtuously or: modest/decent things. I fear
from my lips [and] the speech
of truth. My throat shall meditate,
and lying lips are an abom
ination before me. All the
words of my mouth are
righteousness, and there is no
crookedness in them.
Everything is straight
to the wise, and fitting
to those who find
knowledge. Receive
instruction and not silver,
and knowledge more
than chosen gold.
It is better to choose genius or: wisdom/intelligence
than pure gold, and
wisdom is better
than precious stones, and
everything that is
precious is not worth
