of Your Holy Spirit, may they be
vessels of light, and the fra
grances of incense of sweet
scent which we offer,
do You receive [with] power and
glorification,
all-holy Trinity, now and always and:

I shall confess to You, Lord, all:
Reading from Proverbs:
I, Wisdom, have
dwelt in counsel.
Knowledge and intelli
gence I have called to myself. Fear
hates iniquity and
the paths of evil.
Mine is counsel and pru
dence;
mine is intelligence and
mine is power. Through me
kings reign
and the mighty write justice. Through me the great

become great, and the powerful
hold the earth. I, who
love those who love me, I love; and those
who seek me shall find
grace. Greatness and glory
are mine, possessions
many and righteousness. Better
is it to gain me than
chosen gold, and than
precious stones;
and my fruits are better
than pure silver. In the path of

... went David,
and brought the ark of the
Lord from the house of Abinadab,
to the city of David with
joy. And there were with him
men who carried the
ark of the Lord; and seven
choirs of dancers; and he sacri
ficed bulls and
lambs. And David played
on the lyre, [with] musical
instruments before the Lord.
And David was wearing
a robe adorned,
and David and all the
house of Israel brought up the
ark of the Lord
with shouting and with the sound of a trumpet.
And it happened, upon the touching
of the ark [in] the city of David,
and Michal, the daughter of Saul,
looked through the window,
and saw David as he was dancing and playing
the musical instruments

before the Lord. She despised
him in her heart,
and they brought the ark of the
Lord,
and placed it in its place
in the midst of the tabernacle,
which David had made for it.
And David offered
burnt offerings
and peace [offerings] before the Lord. And when
David had finished
offering the burnt
offerings and the peace
offerings, he blessed the people
in the name of the Lord of Hosts.
And he distributed to everyone,
to all the people, to all the
strength of Israel, from
Dan to Beersheba,
to man and to woman, each a
loaf of bread and a piece [of meat] from the
sacrifice, and a cake from the
pan. And went all the
people each
