መዝሙረ ዳዊት (Book of Psalms — Ge'ez Manuscript)

They err so that they may snatch the needy.
They shall snatch the needy and draw him away
And sweep him up in their net.
He shall be bowed down and fall when he prevails over the needy.
And he says in his heart, God has forgotten me.
And he has turned his face so that he does not see forever.
Arise, O Lord, my God, and
lift up your hand.
And do not forget the needy.
Why does the wicked anger the Lord?
For he says in his heart, He will not search for me.
Do you not see, for you yourself behold toil and wrath?
And that you return them into your hands?
Upon you the needy is cast.
And you are the helper of the orphan.
Break the arm of the wicked and the evil man.
And his sin shall be sought for his sake, and it shall not be found.
The Lord reigns forever and ever.
And the nations shall perish from his land.
The desire of the needy, the Lord has heard.
And the thought of their heart, your ear has made attentive.
