መዝሙረ ዳዊት (Psalms and Apocrypha — Ge'ez, BnF Ethiopien 15)

And the angels gathered
together with them
unitedly against the Lord
and against his Anointed original: "መሲሕ" Mesih Messiah/Anointed.
Let us break their bonds
and cast them from us.
He who sits
in heaven shall laugh at them,
and the Lord
shall mock them. Then he shall speak to them
in his wrath, and in his wrath
he shall trouble them.
And as for me,
I have been set up as king
by him in Zion,
his holy mountain,
to declare the command
of the Lord.

The Lord said
to me, you are my son;
and I, this day, have begotten
you. Ask of me,
and I will give you the nations for
your inheritance, and your dominion
to the ends of the
earth. And you shall rule them with a rod
of iron, and like the
vessels of a potter, you shall break
them to pieces. And now, O
kings, understand, and
take warning, all of you who
judge the earth.
Serve the Lord
with fear, and
rejoice in him with trembling.
Hold fast to his wisdom, so
that the Lord may not be angry.
