3 O Lord, how they have increased.
They who afflict me are
many; they have risen against me.
Many say
to my soul, there is no salvation for
you from your God. But
you, O Lord, are
my shield, you are my glory and the
lifter of my head. My voice I cried
unto the Lord,
and he heard me from his
