منية المريد (The Desire of the Aspirant — Timbuktu Sufi MS, 1780)

The Sheikh traveled to the Qutwat for a knower who was dear to him,
Likewise, he traveled with the pious, ascetic, and hardworking student, al-Barr.
He is the one who took care of the little one a student or child under his care regarding his food and drink.
And God completes this knowledge through the opening of the Sheikh, the learned Imam.
When he saw the Prophet indicated by 'the one with the veil' or a metaphorical reference to the vision of the Prophet in wakefulness, he became a lesson for the nation.
When he saw the best of visionaries, the best of humans, and the best of witnesses,
He said: "Leave your sheikhs and forsake them, I am your educator and your superior Lord referring to a direct spiritual tutelage from the Prophet."
He said: "You are my heir, my beloved, and a son in truth without blame."
And it was the perfection of our auspicious Sheikh, as they strive for the poverty of happiness.
Our Sheikh confirmed to others with clarity, so he meets the people as a flower of the company or "the source of the fragrance".
And it is our prayer upon the Chosen One, the best of creation, along with seeking forgiveness.
