منية المريد (The Desire of the Aspirant — Timbuktu Sufi MS, 1780)

Both of them harbored the perfection of knowledge referring to the spiritual state of ma‘rifa of their Lord, so what a quality they possess.
And they harbored abundant goodness for them; whoever comes to them is not disappointed.
And everyone who attained from his descendants is given a high station in his quantity.
By the hands of the Messenger, the master of the Arabs, an attraction without confusion began, nor any dragging.
What he did not attain of the treasures is not even a mustard seed, in the corner of the world in relation.
In that restricted place, and a man intercedes in the time of this saintly son.
And the pleasure of Ahmad the Chosen is for them, wealth, they are in this house.
Their servant, the seas glorify him, and what is in them, likewise the trees.
And he enters Paradise where he gathers for the sake of serving his house, this place of healing.
And how much miraculous grace karama extraordinary divine gift this Sheikh has, it became a sign of his high status.
So it is not upon me if I mentioned what is appropriate, for the heedless one, one day concerning it.
