The publisher's mark for the Clarendon Press at Oxford University. The emblem features a shield in the center containing an open book inscribed with the Latin motto "The Lord is my illumination" original: "DOM MINA INUS TIO ILLU MEA", accompanied by three crowns. The shield is set within a decorative frame and surrounded by the words "OXFORD", "CLARENDON", and "PRESS".
