ገድለ ሐዋርያት (Acts of the Apostles — Manchester Ethiopic MS 6)

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, one God. Hear this account of Saint Peter, the leader of the apostles, chosen by God, who completed his martyrdom in the city of Rome. Peter was in the city of Rome, rejoicing in God with the brothers, and he gave thanks night and day. He preached about God to the many crowds of Gentiles who came to him from every direction. They believed in our Lord Jesus Christ. And there were among the assembly those who came to Peter from the Gentiles and certain women who were his followers.

to Agrippa original: "አቅሮጶስ", likely Agrippa, the official of the city, and these are their names: Qarya name of a person, and Bawrase name of a person. They were listening to the teaching and all who were involved in it. They were learning how to keep themselves pure and how not to defile their bodies with sin. And this man changed his ways, turning from his former life with joy, and he resolved not to enter the bed of Agrippa again. And when this became known, there was great sorrow, because he loved her exceedingly. He sent men to follow Agrippa to know where he was going.
