There was a great disturbance in the city of Rome because of this act. Albinus original: "አልኃበዮስ" cried out to Agrippa, saying, "Bring me to justice regarding Peter the Christian. He has brought shame upon me and my wife. If you do not bring me justice, I will seek it myself." Agrippa answered him and said to him, "I have also received great pain from him, and even more so, because he has divided me from the one I love." Albinus said to him, "Why do you hesitate? It is desirable that you seize him and kill him, because this man is a sorcerer."
He is a deceiver of the Christians. Act against him with your authority, all the more because of the people who oppose him. This man will be able to cause trouble, because the leaders of the city are agitated. While they were consulting about this, he sent a Christian to Peter about everything they had plotted against him, so that he would leave the city of Rome. All the brothers took off his clothes and urged him to go, and the brothers begged Peter to leave the city. Peter heard their words and left the city alone, and he changed his clothes.
