Dharma Master.
Living in the nature of reality original: "zhenru" (tathata), all the bodhisattvas speak of the essential dharma. Even the nature of reality cannot be grasped, much less any other dharma. To accommodate worldly conventions, such things are spoken of. At that time, Sakra, Lord of the Gods original: "Tiandishi" (Indra), spoke to the Buddha, saying: "This Prajnaparamita Perfection of Wisdom is profoundly deep, extremely difficult to believe or understand. If bodhisattvas practice the deep Prajnaparamita Perfection of Wisdom, though they know all phenomena are unattainable, they [illegible]? [illegible]? for the sake of sentient beings [illegible]? preach [illegible]? which is a very difficult task." Bodhisattvas, having heard these words deeply, have hearts that do not sink, are unobstructed, not confused, and not distressed.
Such matters are truly rare. At that time, Subhuti original: "Shanxian" said to Sakra, Lord of the Gods: "As you have said, the assembly of bodhisattvas hearing of such matters is truly rare. They are unobstructed, not confused, and not distressed. Such matters are truly rare." All the bodhisattvas practicing the deep Prajnaparamita Perfection of Wisdom [illegible]? are also not there. Who establishes whom? [illegible]? who doubts, who asks? Therefore, this matter is truly rare. For [illegible]? sentient beings, they cease inverted views and cannot fully comprehend that all phenomena are empty. Therefore, they seek [illegible]? enlightenment and wish to preach through skillful means. It is [illegible]? a difficult task.
Sakra, Lord of the Gods, said: "Subhuti, all that is spoken is based on emptiness. Therefore, the speech is without obstruction. Just as an arrow shot into the sky, whether near or far, is without obstruction." [illegible]? He then spoke to the Buddha: "Recall that I and the Venerable Subhuti [illegible]? have spoken the true words of the Tathagata original: "Rulai" (Thus-come One), the words of the dharma, and have memorized the dharma according to the dharma." At that time, the World-Honored One told Sakra, Lord of the Gods: "You and Subhuti, whatever you have [illegible]? all accord with the true words of the Tathagata, the words of the dharma. You have practiced the dharma, and according to the dharma, have memorized it. Why? Kausika original: "Qiaoshijia" (a name for Indra), the venerable Subhuti has eloquence and is not attached to emptiness, and therefore establishes teachings. Why is this? Subhuti contemplates all phenomena as ultimately [illegible]? and does not [illegible]? Prajnaparamita Perfection of Wisdom. Having attained the ability to practice Prajnaparamita Perfection of Wisdom, one still does not attain [illegible]? supreme enlightenment; how much less so for those who attain [illegible]? supreme enlightenment."
