...the great master of this profound Prajnaparamita. All heavenly beings, humans, and asuras in the world revere me; they should also revere this profound Prajnaparamita. Therefore, it is good. I use immeasurable, skillful means to entrust this profound Prajnaparamita sutra to you. You must accept and uphold it. Do not let it be forgotten. I now take this profound Prajnaparamita and, before the great assembly of heavenly beings, humans, and asuras, entrust it to you. You should receive and uphold it in your heart; do not let it be forgotten.
It is good. Now, with sincere words, I tell you, all good sons and daughters of pure faith: if you wish not to abandon the treasures of the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha, or the supreme Bodhi enlightenment of the Buddhas of the three times, you must not abandon this profound Prajnaparamita. This is what we Buddhas teach and instruct our disciples. You should know that if there are those who joyfully listen to, accept, uphold, read, recite, and become completely fluent in the Prajnaparamita, contemplating it according to the truth, writing it down, explaining it, and bestowing it—they are realizing supreme, equal, and perfect enlightenment. Because the Prajnaparamita is the source from which the supreme enlightenment of all Buddhas is born, one should rejoice.
If Bodhisattvas, Great Beings, wish to attain enlightenment, they must be diligent and exert themselves in studying the Prajnaparamita. Why? Because the profound Prajnaparamita is the mother of all Bodhisattvas, Great Beings; it enables Bodhisattvas to swiftly attain enlightenment. You should know that if Bodhisattvas desire to protect this Prajnaparamita at the time of their passing, they are protecting the omniscience of the Buddhas of the three times, and they are also protecting the infinite Dharma-treasury the repository of all Buddhist teachings of the Buddhas of the three times.
You should know that if Bodhisattvas diligently study the six paramitas perfections, they will swiftly attain supreme, equal, and perfect enlightenment. Therefore, you should rejoice and not let the Prajnaparamita be forgotten. Why would I ask you to accept and uphold it and not let it be forgotten? Because these six paramitas are the infinite Dharma-treasury of the Buddhas of the three times. You should know that the essential Dharma taught by the Buddhas and World-Honored Ones of the ten directions and three times all flow out from this infinite Dharma-treasury of the six paramitas. The Buddhas of the ten directions and three times, along with their disciples, all rely on this infinite Dharma-treasury to diligently study and practice; having done so, they will attain supreme enlightenment and enter the ultimate...
