Do not place it directly on the bare floor;
lay down paper before placing it on a clean surface.
Draw one lot, and take this oracle to heart,
reflecting upon it month by month.
Return the lot to its place after use.
You must receive this oracle with reverence.

Kannon Mantra: Om nama-mālā ni-jūbara hum

For the person who draws this lot, it is as if the seven-jeweled pagoda is standing upon a high mountain, admired and worshipped by all. Your personal prosperity, the radiance of your house, and your standing in the world are peerless and wonderful beyond measure. However, if you harbor a heart of arrogance, this will turn into misfortune. If you remain humble, revere the gods and Buddhas, show compassion to others, and do not forget the heart of mercy, then blessings and virtues will gather all the more. You will prosper unto your descendants, enjoy a long life, and all your wishes will be fulfilled. All people of the world will admire and look up to you.
