And furthermore, as stated in the text "Aagatah Shivavaktrebhyo" original: "आगतः शिववक्त्रेभ्यो" — "Coming from the mouths of Shiva", these scriptures are the result of the combined wisdom of Shiva and Girija a name for the Goddess, meaning "Daughter of the Mountain", and Lord Vishnu is their witness and endorser. The expansion of the Agamas scriptures of knowledge/tradition has occurred through the traditional transmission of wisdom. Vasudeva first heard the knowledge of Nigama Vedic traditions and Agama. He transmitted it to Ganesha, and Ganesha to Nandishwara. In this way, step by step, the knowledge of the Nigama and Agama permeated the earth. In the tradition of the Aryan scriptures, the word Nigama is considered to mean "Veda," while the word Agama is understood as introductory to all Tantric treatises.
It should also not be forgotten that it was not only the Agamas that were published by Shiva and Shakti; rather, all the literature prevalent under the names of Yamala a category of Tantric texts, Damara a category of Tantric texts, and Tantra was also created by them. All the various types of literature available in Tantric studies—such as Amnaya tradition/transmission, Sutra aphorism, Samhita compilation, Uddisha, Arnava, Kalpa ritual manual, Mata, Ashtaka, Chudamani, and Chintamani—are the result of the compassion of this Divine Couple. The infinite Tantra scriptures are their unique gift.
The Mother’s compassion is famous in all living and non-living beings. The saying "A son may become wicked, but a mother never becomes wicked" is true in every respect. Lord Shiva is "Bhole Baba" The Innocent/Simple Father. What can be said of his grace? He constantly bestows the gift of his grace upon his devotees freely. Because of this natural and spontaneous nature, we offer our millions of salutations to the Divine Couple, who created this unique, welfare-bestowing knowledge through the Tantras:
May there be millions of our prostrations, performed with devotion and through the three instruments of body, speech, and mind, to that great and varied scripture, the Tantra, which is the sole foundation for both worldly enjoyment and liberation, and which is permeated by that Divine Couple who are filled with supreme compassion for the welfare of all beings born in this world.
