Their resting and the subsequent state, characterized by the power of will original: "iccha-shakti" inherent in freedom, lead to the Hiranyagarbha the cosmic womb or the manifest universe, which is composed of the powers of will, action, and knowledge. The middle speech original: "madhyama vak" is defined as having the nature of both the illuminator and the illuminated, while the subtle form is the subject matter. Here, the term "all" original: "sakala" implies the inclusion of the middle speech, the sound, the dot original: "bindu", the power, and the seed-letters original: "bijakshara" arising from the void. These are to be placed at the root support original: "muladhara", the phallus original: "linga", the root of the navel, the heart, the throat, the uvula, the middle of the eyebrows, and the forehead. The triad of will and others should be placed on the head, the right breast, and the left breast. The Goddesses of Peace original: "shanti", the Root original: "muladhara", the Left original: "vama", the Elder original: "jyeshtha", the Rudri, and the Mother original: "ambika" should be placed in those very spots. This is the method of middle-speech placement, which occurs before the placement of the manifest speech original: "vaikhari nyasa".
Now, the subject matter, which is of the nature of the Seer original: "pashyanti" and corresponds to that meaning, is described as the cause—the state of the creative process that is the source of everything, described by words such as "accumulation of penance" original: "tapa-upachaya". It is the sound-form original: "nadatmaka", described as the illuminator and the illuminated, and is expressed as the Eternal original: "shashvati". Its eternity is to be understood from its existence from the primal creation until the final dissolution, and from its nature as the truth of the Absolute original: "sadadirupa".
Salutations to the Great Existence. Salutations to the Great Consciousness. Salutations to the Great Bliss. Salutations to the Great Sovereignty.
By this, the placement of the Seer original: "pashyanti nyasa" at the crown, the two breasts, and the root support is indicated.
Now, the subject matter of the Highest original: "para", which is of the nature of that meaning, the common form, the unmanifested inward cause, and the power-form, is indicated by the word World-Womb original: "vishvayoni". Its placement is done through the quality of pervasiveness. Thus, by speaking of the four types of subjects corresponding to speech and meaning, one should understand the remaining ineffable subject matter as described by its characteristics. The goal, defined as worldly enjoyment and liberation, is stated as Sharada the Goddess of Learning. She who grants the fruit of karma—that which is physical and so on—is Sharada. She is also Sharada because she, being established in the knowledge of Brahman, destroys the ego. The word "Sharada" should be interpreted as referring to this dual purpose. By mentioning the purpose, the specific qualified person is implied, as the seeker is generally established through that. By saying "May she bestow," it is meant that a qualified seeker, having a pure heart and favored by a guru through some method of initiation original: "diksha", is transformed through the spoken initiation of purification.
There, the atomic initiation original: "anavi diksha" performed through the mantras is of many kinds. The method of the atomic initiation of placement involves dissolving the impure body of the student by using the four types of alphabet placements as limbs and creating a pure one. The process involving sacrificial fires and so on will appear later. The method of the Shaktic initiation original: "shakta-diksha" involves entering the student’s body through the thread of one’s own power, performing the dissolution of the elements, and contemplating the student as the Supreme Deity; this is indicated by the three words starting with "All-world-lord." This initiation is of many kinds, depending on the gate through which it enters, such as the visual, the traditional, the spoken, or the mental. The Shambhava initiation original: "shambhavi-diksha", which consists only of abiding in the true nature and consuming the entire body of the student, is indicated by the word Sharada.
The connection is indicated by the description of the subject itself.
