The path of sound logic, taught by the excellent teachers beginning with the Lord Srikanthanatha a name for Shiva in Kashmir Shaivism,

Has attained a state of perfect clarity where the doctrine of non-dualism of the Lord Īśvarādvaitavāda the doctrine of non-dualism of the Lord is established.

Spreading from Kashmir, its manifest fragrance delights all people,

And even in this land, it is seen as rare as the scattering of saffron, bringing joy to the virtuous. (1)

Cross quickly across the ocean of existence saṃsārābthi ocean of the cycle of rebirth, and establish yourself in the supreme state,

A firm position, full of eternal light and joy.

Contemplate the nectar of the essence of the non-dual realization of Shiva,

Which provides an inner buoyancy through the application of immediate and vigorous reasoning. (2)
