[Part One]
Adorned with a foreword by the Chancellor, Prof. Rajendra Mishra
A complex circular mandala (yantra) representing the Matrika (Sanskrit alphabet) system. At the very center is a pink circle containing the seed syllable 'Hrīṃ'. Surrounding it is a text ring with 'Hritsauḥ', 'Om, salutations to Svacchanda Bhairava', and the words 'beginning with A', 'ending with Ksha', 'sixteen', 'letters'. The next white ring contains the sixteen Sanskrit vowels (Matrikas) from 'A' to 'Aḥ'. This is enclosed by an eight-petaled lotus, with each petal containing a group of consonants. Outer labels identify directions (Indra/East, Agni/SE, etc.), associated Yoginis (Aindri, Brahmi, etc.), and their corresponding consonant vargas.
