Performing the breath-control means inhaling while chanting the Pranava Om twenty-two times, retaining while chanting sixty-four times, and exhaling while chanting sixteen times. (9)

Having taken the soul in the heart and gone through the sushumna path to the crown of the head, one should place it in the Absolute. This meaning is to be known through the teacher's instruction; in the absence of yoga, simple remembrance is to be practiced. (11-12)
The colors are yellow, etc.; the seeds are lam, etc.; the shapes are quadrilateral, etc. The group of elements is associated with them. (13)
