Red Adhamara flowers, Kushtha costus root, white mustard, the root of the white Arka calotropis, Gandha sandalwood/fragrance, and Uttaravaruni a medicinal vine. On the Krishna Ashtami or the fourteenth day of the lunar month, grind them using the hand of a maiden at night; the tilaka is effective for controlling all. Grind the root of the Apamarga with Gorochana a bright yellow pigment from cattle. By applying this tilaka on the forehead, one gains control over the three worlds.
