Bring under control, Svaha.
Success in these operations is attained by one thousand recitations. One should mix the ashes of a sage with the blood of a peacock. Whoever has this marked on their head referring to a ritual application surely becomes powerful. A peacock feather, mixed with rochana a yellow pigment, and a tuft of hair—when ground by a maiden and applied to the hand, one moves through the world as if invisible. By taking the root of the white aparajita Clitoria ternatea / butterfly pea during the time of the star Pushya an auspicious lunar mansion for three days, a person of measured speech, when adorned with this tilaka anointed mark on the forehead, becomes a captivator of hearts. The root of the meghanada Celosia argentea placed in the mouth induces submissiveness. The opposing speaker becomes mute, or like a person who cannot speak. On the fourteenth day, take the root of the white gunja Abrus precatorius / rosary pea. When given through betel leaf, it brings all people under control. When the root of the shikha tuft/crest and rochana is used with water to make a tilaka, 13 [this is] the wonderful method for the subjugation of all beings. The wise should make a ring with the root wrapped in gold.
A fragmented description of a ritual: "...seen by me, by life or by wealth. Having chewed that root and applied it as a tilaka, upon sight, [others] fall under one's control, whether they are a woman or a man."

Success in these operations is attained by one thousand recitations. On the eighth day of the waning moon, under the Pushya star, one should fast, remain pure, and perform the ritual with offerings of flowers, incense, and oblations. After giving the mantra, recite it one thousand and eight times.
Om, O dweller of the wind of white color, O invincible one, do my work, do my work, Thah Thah.
The fruit of the white gunja and earth from a cremation ground—one should mix all these with ghee in a beautiful vessel. On the fourteenth or eighth day of the dark moon, place it [down]. Sprinkle it with water enchanted by the mantra until the fruit is attained.
