"If we do otherwise, may the Lord split our heads."
"With the wrathful-thunderbolt, or cast us into hell." (18-20)
Now the Yakshinis, divine maidens, and serpent-maidens said: "O Lord of Gods, we shall serve your devotees and grant them the requested wealth. O Lord, if we do not obey your words, may we be destroyed along with our lineage. We will become the servants of those who chant the mantra of the King of Wrath and perform all their tasks. If we violate your command, you should split our heads into hundreds of pieces with your wrathful-thunderbolt and cast us into hell." (18-20)
Having said "Very well," the Vajra-handed one spoke to the gods again:
"You shall serve the humans who chant for the King of Wrath."
"You shall grant them blue-stones, gold, pearls, and other wealth." (21)
The thunderbolt-wielding King of Wrath said to the deities: "May you be well, O maidens! You shall grant the blue-stones, gold, pearls, and other wealth to the humans who chant the mantra of the King of Wrath." (21)
Saying "Let it be so" and bowing to the King of Wrath, the destroyer of gods,
The Yaksha-maidens departed to their own realms, having accepted his command. (22)
The Yaksha-maidens said, "Let it be so," and bowing to the King of Wrath, who destroys gods and demons, they accepted his command and departed for their own realms. (22)
Through him, all become granters of desired success in Jambudvipa in the Kali Age. (23)
Thus, in the Kali Age, the maidens grant success to the inhabitants of Jambudvipa. (23)
