Series 1. LEUCOSPORUS White-spored. Veil various or none. Lamellae unchangeable. Sporidia white.

Trib. I. AMANITA. Veil double; universal discrete distinct, partial ring-shaped, subpersistent.
Trib. II. LEPIOTA. Veil simple, universal, concrete fused, ring-shaped, subpersistent.
Trib. III. ARMILLARIA. Veil simple, partial, discrete, ring-shaped, subpersistent.
Trib. IV. LIMACIUM. Veil very fleeting, viscous. Lamellae adnate-decurrent.
Trib. V. TRICHOLOMA. Veil very fleeting, flocculose, marginal. Lamellae emarginate or rounded.

** With a central, naked stipes.

Trib. VI. RUSSULA. Pileus fleshy, finally depressed. Lamellae equal, exsuccous dry. Sporidia in some turn yellow.
Trib. VII. GALORRHEUS. Pileus fleshy, finally depressed. Lamellae unequal, lactescent milky.
Trib. VIII. CLITOCYBE. Pileus fleshy, convex when young. Lamellae unequal, exsuccous. Various.
Trib. IX. COLLYBIA. Pileus carnose-membranous, somewhat flat. Small, dry.

Trib. X. MYCENA. Pileus membranous, campanulate. Slender. Stipes fistulose hollow.
Trib. XI. OMPHALIA. Pileus membranous, or carnose-membranous, umbilicate when young. Various.

Series 2. HYPORHODIUS Pink-spored. Veil none. Lamellae discoloring. Sporidia rose-colored.

Trib. XIV. CLITOPILUS. Pileus fleshy, convex. Various.
Trib. XV. LEPTOSIA. Pileus carnose-membranous, from convex to flat. Small.
Trib. XVI. NOLANEA. Pileus membranous, campanulate. Slender. Stipes fistulose.
Trib. XVII. ECCILIA. Pileus umbilicate. Lamellae adnate.

Series 3. CORTINARIA. Veil present, cobweb-like. Lamellae discoloring, drying out. Sporidia ochraceous.
