The Venetians will be tormented this year by various languors, so that a large part of the illnesses mentioned earlier in general will occur in their parts according to the disposition of the stars. Therefore, bloody fluxes, pains in the chest and kidneys, and certain fevers proceeding from melancholic matter and blood will occur with pestilential infection. This is judged from the Moon, the lady of the ascendant, being joined to Jupiter, the other significator, who is unfortunate through retrograde motion and sits in the house of infirmities at the hour of the revolution of the year of the world. This is especially true because the significators, namely the Moon and Jupiter, although found in their exaltation, are nevertheless condemned by the fourth ray of Saturn. The Moon also holds her rulerships in the city or its territory, bringing a flow of blood and the death, perhaps, or ruin of one of the city's leaders. Let them take care, moreover, that some of their ships are not submerged or captured by pirates or robbers. Indeed, the stars seem to threaten the Duke of these people with death or the danger of death; they should not postpone this warning, as the stars do not lie. The aforementioned is proven by the situation of their significators at the hour of the revolution of the year of the world in the house of infirmities, in the square of the sign of Saturn, as has been said above. Likewise, the Moon as lady of the radical ascendant, and now similarly the lady of the ascendant of the revolution of the same city, is in a square of the other significator, who is not yet well directed. We speak of the Duke because of the conjunction of two unfortunates about to occur in the sign opposite to their dominion. And what we said regarding the ships we affirm because of the Moon and Jupiter, their significator, in a watery sign, being made unfortunate by retrograde motion. This is especially so because the Moon, lady of the ascendant of the aforementioned radical city and now lady of the ascendant of the revolution of said city, receding from a bodily conjunction with Saturn, applies to Jupiter, the other significator, and is found in the fourth house, which is called the house of Aquarius, very robust and unfortunate. The same should be understood for Milan, Vicenza, Gubbio, Barbary, and the eastern region.

I certainly see various illnesses in Florence this year. Many noble men and women will die there, whether from plague or whatever else may happen, and they will suffer many expenses with anxiety. They will not, however, lose anything of their wealth because they will be favored or protected by certain prelates. Yet the fear they have of their enemies will be greater than the reality. These things are apparent, first, from their sign in part in the house of contradiction and in part in the house of death at the hour of the conjunction preceding the sun's entry into Aries, and from the lord of that same sign, namely Mars, sitting in his fall in the house of death as well. Secondly, they are apparent from the figure of the revolution of the year of the world, where Aries, their sign, is in the house of substance in a square to the place of Jupiter and the Moon, and in opposition to the rays of Saturn, the greater misfortune of the whole sky and the cause of misfortune. Thirdly, they are apparent from Venus, the lady of the ascendant of the revolution of their city, who moves in her own house to a fertile place of Jupiter and is made fortunate from a strong position by him. As for what is said—that the fear of enemies will be greater than the reality—this is stated because of Venus, the lady of the ascendant of the aforementioned revolution, who separates from Mars, the lord of the house of contradictions. The same is understood for Faenza, Imola, Arezzo, and Bertonozio.
