The First Image.

Y The image of Aries, while the sun illuminates its first minute, is located in the seventh house and is assigned to infirmity, and because in it there is perfection. In places where it holds dominion, such as Persia, Britain, and Germany, as well as in our own parts in cities that have such an image in the ascendant, such as Florence, Naples, and Faenza, it signifies lust and the alteration of things for women existing in the aforementioned places. Also, the slaughter of men will occur, and it will afflict the magnates and principals, and they will feel detriment and loss from enemies. Many will give themselves to the worship of idols and to heresy, and they will feel labors and fatigues. And because in summer the image of Aries is located in the mid-heaven, in these places it gives audacity and austerity, the magnanimity of men, and the acquisition of kingdom, fame, and praise, and men will give themselves to strange and sublime crafts. This judgment is confirmed by Mars, the lord of this image, existing in the image of Leo, striking the ascendant image of Aries with a friendly ray. The autumn and winter quarters, however, show no fewer dangers than the spring, when such an image is figured in the autumn quarter in the twelfth house, which Mars, wandering in the sixth, sees from the diameter, and in winter occupies the eighth and seventh houses. Whence they will feel infirmities and the aforementioned things, and others which were premised above. These things are confirmed because perfection comes to such an image this year; they should also fear plague, and it renders the autumn hot and windy.
