The image of Scorpio found in the second house, with the diametric aspect of Saturn and Mars existing in the house of death, indicates that the places dedicated to this image—such as Genoa, Cremona, Rimini, and Padua—will feel many misfortunes this year. In their substance, also, many will suffer damage and loss; many will fall ill from plague and experience death. In the summer, indeed, Mars, the lord of Scorpio, renders them bold and strenuous; however, they will have discords among themselves, as well as anger, and most especially among blood relatives, kin, brothers, and fathers with their sons, since Scorpio, located in the fifth house, views Mars, its lord, from a square aspect original: "ex quarto aspectu". Likewise, the image of Scorpio found in the autumn quarter in the seventh house indicates contrarieties and altercations. Mars, the lord of Scorpio, being scorched by the Sun in Libra in the sixth house, declares war and lawsuits, and because it is in a movable sign, it predicts the hanging of thieves. Venus, also, in the image of Scorpio, elongated from the Sun as premised, confirms this with the detriment of nobles and the shedding of blood; hence, all the aforementioned render this year warlike and pestilential. Also, Mars, in the figure of the opposition preceding the Sun’s entry into Capricorn, makes the winter season in Scorpio diverse and mutable, with many waters and clouds corrupting trees, and especially olive trees.
The image of Sagittarius located in the third house, having the Dragon’s Tail the descending lunar node with Jupiter, Venus, and Mercury in a square aspect and existing in the fourth house, demonstrates the downfall of the great and the noble and the exaltation of the vile and ignoble. Let jurists take care lest they be saddened; let scribes, mediators, and wise men find hidden obstacles in their paths because of the Tail remaining in such an image; let them not arrange to go on journeys. Also, let the places dedicated to it—such as Milan, Hungary, Dalmatia, and some places in Spain—fear for their brothers and relatives.
