Item: Mars in the winter quarter, claiming lordship for itself at the end of Scorpio and hastening toward Sagittarius, announces illnesses in the young, especially coughs and eye pains, and most particularly in the west. Item: Mercury, the lord of the place of opposition for the Sun's entry into Sagittarius, denotes a scarcity of grain and that oil will remain at its current price.
The image of Capricorn, holding a place in the fourth house with the Moon in opposition, and with Saturn and Mars in the house of death in a trine aspect to Jupiter in the house of fertility, indicates that the places dedicated to it—such as Romagna and most especially Forlì, and some places around Ferrara—will feel sorrow through the death of parents and because of illnesses from which many will die on account of the lord, Saturn, being located in the house of death with Mars. Many in the said places will contract marriages and nuptials, and will have altercations and contentions, perhaps over women. Let the most illustrious Duke of Urbino be cautious lest he feel the illness or death of any dear relative or kin. One great lord also will contract enmity toward his illustrious lordship, and another will be made a friend, or will not contract new friendship with him. If the image of Capricorn is found in the seventh house in the summer and views the Sun lingering in the twelfth house from opposition, and Saturn, the lord of such an image, is located in the eleventh, let him also stay awake lest any fortress subject to his dominion suffer any loss or depopulation; and those who attempt such things will not escape safely, but many will be captured. For the Sun, remaining in the angle of the earth in the image of Capricorn in winter, declares these things.
