Regarding those who rule, since their birthdays are not known to me and the revolutions of those about whom I spoke last year are not finished, I have decided to say nothing, but those things which will be added below regarding the solar eclipse can be understood by any ruler. For I do not care about the rest, what opinions they have, more than the straps, and rulers are in the hand of God, because all power is from God. Furthermore, those things which we said last year will not pass away.
There will be a great solar eclipse this year on the sixteenth day of March, at the fourth hour and thirty-fourth minute after midday. Its color will be first toward a greenness, then toward a redness. It will last for two hours and a little more. It will begin in the ninth house and will end in the seventh, the impediments of which will be great, to be cured in two years, also the signification which will begin in the month of July for two years and then after, about which these things are to be considered. First, who is the lord in the figure of the eclipse. Second, in which places its effect will appear. Third, what things are subject to the signification of the eclipse. Fourth, which men and which cities are more disposed to receiving that infirmity. Fifth, which limbs and parts of the body are disposed to it. Sixth, what its accident is, good or bad.
The general lord in this eclipse will be Mars, on account of the abundance of its strengths, and because Mercury is the lord of the ascendant, it will be a participant in the dominion. This eclipse will take place in Aries in the fifth degree and the 19th of Aries, with the first face of Virgo ascending, which Mars disposes the Christians to wars against the Turks and the French, the Florentines, who
