The first will be to show the configuration of the sky of the conjunction of the Sun and the Moon, which is eclipsable, which precedes the entry of the Sun into Aries.
The second will be to show the day and hour and the locations of the planets and the ascending degree when the Sun enters the first of Aries, and who is the universal lord of the year.
The third will be concerning the disposition of the air and its qualities and earthquakes.
The fourth is concerning fertility and the price of goods for sale.
The fifth is concerning the prosperous or adverse health of men and the pestilence.
The sixth is to reveal what I think concerning war and peace.
The seventh is concerning the state of the commoners, nobles, and those who rule.
The eighth and last are the conjunctions and oppositions of the Sun and the Moon, and which days are happy for acting and which are unhappy; may God be our helper in all these things.
The conjunction of the Sun and the Moon, preceding the Sun's entry into Aries, will be eclipsable this year, 1486, on the 5th day of March, at 18 hours and almost 50 minutes past noon, with the 4th degree of Aries ascending and 58 minutes at the middle of the eclipse, with the Sun existing in the 12th degree. It will happen in the 24th degree and 58 minutes of Pisces. Saturn in Sagittarius in the 11th degree in the 9th house; Jupiter in the 9th degree of Capricorn in the 10th house; Mars in Aquarius in the 11th degree in the 11th house; Venus in Taurus in the 10th degree in the 2nd house; Mercury, however, in the 7th degree of Aries in the house of darkness The 12th house.. The Head of the Dragon existing in the 2nd degree of Pisces in the house of darkness. And the tail in its opposite. In this eclipse, Jupiter and Venus rule.
The entry of the Sun into Aries this year will be on the 10th day of March, at 21 hours and 30 minutes past noon, with the 16th degree of Gemini imperfectly ascending. And one star of the first magnitude of the nature of Mercury and Mars is rising, which is in the constellation of Orion, which signifies makers of war and murderers. With the Sun running through Aries, I omit the other planets for the sake of brevity. Mercury, ascending, as lord of Mars, proceeds as the lord of the year, especially in the first half of the year; whatever others say, I decree it thus.
Beyond these things, it must be considered that many signs of the great sphere exist.
