will retrograde on the 21st or 22nd day. This month is adverse to the French and adverse to their king. For if they enter into battle, they will repent. And a great leader of armies will die, either in Italy or in France. Similarly, in Romagna and around Ferrara, there is a huge signification of war at this time, or that tumults will be made by those in Lucca and Florence. For the stars of Capricorn, Aries, and Cancer threaten greatly. These cities are Ferrara, Faenza, Imola, and Forlì. For either war or seditions are indicated there by the stars, and perhaps in Lucca or Florence, where it appears from the disposition of the heavens that the common people will rise up against their princes, which is indicated by the profectiones annual progressions of the great conjunctions and others of which I have spoken, and which will follow the conjunction of Saturn and Mars, to occur in the month of December in Capricorn; and the Saturnian forces will be superior. And there will be, outside of Italy, a danger of death or captivity for the King of the Arabs and his magnates. Perhaps it will be deferred to the end of the year, to the month of January. For Mars, as the lord of the term of the conjunction, indicates that men of royal lineage will rise up against the king. But speaking generally, kings and dukes will agree little with their subjects. Therefore, let them fear the seditions of the people. I would have said there would be war in Italy in this year, if not for the following conjunction of Saturn and Mars, which signifies that it will endure until they conjoin again and arise anew.

¶ Chapter five. Concerning princes.

The Supreme Pontiff will be in peace and tranquility. For although Jupiter is scorched by the Sun, the Sun nonetheless draws to itself all of Jupiter’s signification. And since the sun signifies pontiffs and kings, yet because it is free from the aspect of the malefic referring to planets like Saturn or Mars, it indicates that he will enjoy peace and tranquility, and that he will be intent upon governance and equity, and will enjoy prosperous bodily health. Nor do I see in the first, second, or third quarter of the year any star contrary to this constellation. But at the end of the winter, because of the eclipse of the Moon and the conjunction of Mars and Saturn of which I spoke, let him avoid seditions, and let him not involve himself in wars. Let him not neglect the care of his body, so that he may reach his twelfth year referring to the duration of his pontificate.
