¶ Those subject to the regime of the bloody Mars, such as soldiers, and also leaders of war, and those preparing instruments of war, will be happier in the second and last quarters of the year than at other times, rejoicing in the health of their bodies. Except in the beginning of spring, they will not escape melancholy infirmities without great diligence.
¶ Those subject to the ray of the royal Sun, such as kings and powerful princes, will suffer infirmities in the last quarter of the year, even beyond the requirements of the season, because their significator is conjoined to Mars. In the second quarter also, they will suffer adversity because of the application of the Sun to the opposite ray of Saturn. In the first quarter, however, they will behave well because of the conjunction of the Sun with the greater fortune referring to Jupiter. In the third, however, they will be unfortunate and will have enmities, and will be burdened with melancholy infirmities, and will be afflicted with pain of mind and body.
¶ Those protected by the ray of the sweetest Venus, such as jesters, actors, and beautiful women, and those delighting in the most beautiful things, will rejoice, being healthy and safe, until the 22nd day of July, and will lead a pleasant life, applauding. After the 22nd of July until the end of August, they will be of lower prosperity because of the retrogradation of Venus. In the last quarter of the year, however, they will be free from infirmity, although they will seem sad and neglected by almost everyone.
¶ Those under the influences of Mercury, such as merchants, writers, painters, and lovers of the noble arts: in the first quarter of the year they will behave middlingly regarding the state of their body. They will be despised, however, just as they are now held in low esteem. In the second quarter of the year, they will behave better. In the third, however, they will be most unhappy, vexed by various infirmities, and will lament their miseries because of the retrogradation and combustion of their significator. In the last quarter of the year, after having suffered many miseries, the year will let them live in quiet with small praise.
¶ Those governed by the influences of the Moon, such as sailors, fishermen, and those who exercise themselves near the waters: in the first quarter of the year, they will be sad and will suffer, burdened by melancholy infirmities. In the second quarter, however, because of the trine ray of the Moon and Jupiter, they will have attained happiness with health.
