The body of the legates of the Apostolic See, archbishops, pontiffs, canons, and doctors of pontifical law will have a good status in the first quarter of the year. They will seek praise and fortune. They will be diligent before their prince. They will seek fruits and revenues. In the summer, they will strive to join with some women and should beware of violence and loss from warlike men. And because of religion, many will suffer persecution and will be handed over to death. In the autumn, they will be solicitous concerning the Church, and in that cause, they will make journeys and pilgrimages. In the winter, however, they will think about possessions, inheritances, and treasures, and many will be occupied with theology.
Kings, princes, and high-status men will be occupied with religion and pilgrimage in the spring, and they will prepare themselves for travel in the cause of concord or the Church. They will exercise great prudence. Especially that Emperor of the Romans whose lord of the year is Mercury; for he will involve himself in auguries, proverbs, and the oracles of prophets. They will fear various infirmities, and many other princes likewise. They will take away offices from the officials of lords, and many will be punished in the present year. In summer and autumn, however, one will take up arms against another and will attempt to repel them by the strength of others. Some will also think about women. In winter, however, their status will be exalted, and they will seek mutual concord. The most illustrious Prince Maximilian, because of his lady Venus who, although she will be retrograde around his revolution, will nevertheless diminish nothing from his significations. For it signifies that in this year he will be lively; he will involve himself in songs, jocularity, joys, good clothes, and fragrant things. He will associate with friends and will be lucky; he will gain and have utility from men. Venus portends good through many gifts. Also, truly, Mars, when he infects the rays of the place with his retrogradation. Others, concerning the revolution of the year and near to it, should strive for a propitious end. The King of Poland, Casimir, in the present year or near to it, because of his lord of the year, will fear various tempests and infirmities, and even vices leading to death.
Soldiers, men-at-arms, doctors of medicine, alchemists, smiths, surgeons, and those who work with fire will feel a bad status in the spring. Many, because of the opposition of Saturn to their lord, will be handed over to death. They will be punished by the head or hands. They will also suffer various sicknesses at that time, now cold, now hot. In summer and autumn, they will fare well by the strength of their art
