much profit. The miners of this year should expect iron and steel to maintain themselves in a similar fashion.
Saturn, a significator of the false Jews, being in the house of imprisonment, indicates that they will not be well-disposed this year. They must fear imprisonment and secret treachery. The soldiers will cause them great harm, capturing many of them and hunting them like dogs. They will increase their goods and wealth. Their elders will revile them. Usury wucher interest-taking will bring them little profit. They will build houses and fields from which they will derive gain. Inheritances from the dead will come to them in abundance this year. They will betray one another and quarrel with other peoples.
The Christians will be weakened in their health and body, though this will not reach the point of mortality. Their temperament will lean toward anger, and they will practice little piety and seek few pilgrimages. They will hold many festivals and be quite joyful, and they will lend. They will have joy and desire for many things, and they will receive gain in their trading. They will be very careful and fearful of keeping their goods on account of war and strife. Otherwise, their status in other matters will be sufficiently fortunate and comfortable.
The people of the Mohammedan faith will experience a fortunate status in one respect; their goods will be increased, and they will win villages and marketplaces. They will love art and law, and bestow great gifts upon the learned. In another respect, they will experience manifold enmity and, for many reasons, will be wounded and killed by iron. Some will fall into anxiety and need. Others will suffer various illnesses on account of their wives. Thus, according to the indication of the firmament, the Christians have great luck this year to fight against them. May God place it in the hearts of our princes that they undertake to do such things against them.
