hold office, rank, and clergy. Knights, soldiers, goldsmiths, and all people who work with iron and ore, and all people who love the color red: In spring and summer, they will stand well and have profit. Lords and princes will love them. In autumn, they will pursue profit, and in winter, find weakness.
Masters of the liberal arts, students, astronomers, and all sharp-witted people, and those who love the color blue: In spring, they will apply themselves to art and wisdom, and also in summer and autumn, they will be honored, and in winter, their state will become weak and sick. About the state of women, maidens, maidservants, and all people who love the color green: They will feel sickness and pain in the spring, and also in summer. In autumn, they will have a good state, and in winter. But weak women at the time of Gertrude March 17, Trinity, Laurence August 10, Nativity of Mary September 8, Simon and Jude October 28 will suffer need. Also about the merchants: Merchants and traders will make many journeys with profit in spring and summer. In autumn, they will profit, and in winter, their state will become weak, and they will take much damage from thieves and robbers around the time of Blaise February 3, Apollonia February 9, Sophia May 15, Kilian July 8, Magdalene July 22, Bartholomew August 24, Maurice September 22, Crispin October 25, Catherine November 25, Barbara December 4, and Lucy December 13.
About clergy: Clergy such as monks, elders likely abbots or similar administrators, and people who do coarse work and love black: They will build and plant in spring and be favored by it. In autumn, they have improvement, and in summer, their state will be sluggish. In winter, weak and sick.
The fifth word about the state of the common rabble and people: In spring, the common people will stand well in all things. In summer, many will die. In autumn, they will do much good business with profit and gain. In winter, they will have much adversity and enmity. One finds these things from the wise prognostication which has noted such from the stars and planets, and from them I have said this. God the Almighty and Merciful is to be called upon so that He takes all harm from us, to whom we say praise and honor with His worthy Mother Mary, now and at all times. Amen.
