Lord, you saw us through this night
You have kept us safe,
And we see the light again,
To offer you our honor.
2 Keep us safe throughout this day,
Let your arms protect us,
Even us, the very ones,
Whom you keep in safety.
3 Let all our words, our ways,
Proclaim that we are yours
Let a different light within us
Shine before the world.

This day your love has held us,
In you we go to rest,
Through the night may you take us,
Keep us from the enemy;
Jesus, be our guardian,
In you we place our trust.
