2 The nations of the earth
Are waiting for that Lord,
They wish to see the one we see,
Yes, the Savior.

3 Holy kings and prophets
Fixed their eyes on the path,
In hope and in faith
They waited for the Lord.

4 But the One they waited for,
Yes, the Savior,
Is the One we see now,
We proclaim Him throughout the world.

THE King, Christ the God,
From His peaceful dwelling,
From the throne of peace,
Comes to our wilderness.

2 The Prince of peace
