It features a lion rampant within a double tressure flory-counter-flory A decorative border characteristic of Scottish heraldry, featuring fleur-de-lis motifs, topped by a crown and surrounded by the collar of the Order of the Thistle. The emblem is flanked by faint supporters (a unicorn and a lion).
