Whereas the time has come, that by the good pleasure of Almighty God my Creator, and his dearly beloved Son Jesus Christ, my laboratory in this corruptible world draws to an end, and I am to approach from this earthly laboratory unto the heavenly, and am creeping daily and hourly nearer to the end, and am to close according to the appointed time of my dear Saviour, aiming at the true MannaThe miraculous food provided by God to the Israelites in the wilderness; here, the spiritual nourishment of eternal life., or heavenly food of eternal bliss, sighing continually after the enjoying of such riches, which have a fullness of everlasting joys;
