Manuscripts from one of the world's oldest continuous literary traditions. The Ethiopian canon preserves texts found nowhere else — including the complete Book of Enoch, the Kebra Nagast (Glory of Kings), and the Fetha Nagast (Law of the Kings). Written in Ge'ez, the classical language of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, these manuscripts span from illuminated medieval gospels to magical prayer scrolls.
