Martin Gerbert's 'Scriptores Ecclesiastici de Musica Sacra' is a massive three-volume anthology of medieval and Renaissance music treatises in Latin. While individual treatises contained within this collection (such as those by Guido of Arezzo or Franco of Cologne) have been translated into English by various scholars over the decades, the collection as a whole has never been translated into English as a unified work. Therefore, it remains a first complete translation.
