Is this; no, Jesus himself comes here to kindly invite you
To Heavenly food, formerly purchased by him so dearly.

These Emblems zinnebeelden: symbolic engravings or allegorical images intended to convey a moral or religious lesson are so wondrously wrought
With soul-refreshment; yes, they are true Heavenly breads,
Wherein the Soul, as if entirely fled from the earthly,
Is ever refreshed by that fountain of true Heavenly moisture.

This glorious Poetic Banquet, flowed from HOBURG’S mind,
Is joyful for the spirit; here a soul, weary
From the heavy burden of sins, can find much comfort and refreshment.

This HEART THEOLOGY, which steadily satisfies the spirit,
Is peace for a Soul that submits itself in all things
To Christ’s will; these alone are God’s true friends.
