Give the knowledge of the breath Swarodaya: literally 'the rise of the breath,' a system of divination and spiritual practice based on nasal airflow only to such a disciple who is of a peaceful nature, pure, of excellent conduct, whose mind is devoted to the Guru, who is firm in resolve, and who is grateful for favors received. || 13 ||
One should not impart the knowledge of the breath to those who are wicked, malicious, prone to anger, atheistic, those who commit adultery with the Guru's wife, the impatient, or those of corrupt conduct. || 14 ||
O Goddess! Listen to this supreme knowledge residing within the body as told by me, through the mere knowledge of which one becomes all-knowing. || 15 ||

An astrologer Daivajña: one who knows the divine/fate who is devoid of the knowledge of breath does not shine, just as a house without a master, a mouth without the ability to recite scriptures, or a body without a head is incomplete. || 17 ||
The person who understands the distinctions of the Nadi: energy channels, the Prana-tattva: the elements of the life-force, and the three combined channels including the Sushumna: the central spiritual channel of the spine, attains liberation. || 18 ||
