Whether in form or formless, success is achieved through the power of the breath.
O beautiful-faced one! Some say that success comes through the knowledge of the breath alone. || 19 ||
In both the manifest original: "sakara" - referring to the physical or worldly realm and the unmanifest original: "nirakara" - referring to the spiritual or absolute realm, good fortune is brought about by the strength of the breath original: "vayu" - literally 'air' or 'wind', here meaning the vital breath. And O Parvati! Some masters say that it is through the knowledge of these breath-patterns alone that auspiciousness is attained. || 19 ||
The divisions of the universe and the individual bodies were created by the breath alone.

Securing a marriage original: "kanya-prapti" - literally 'obtaining a maiden', gaining an audience with royalty, achieving spiritual success with deities, and bringing a sovereign under one's influence are all made possible through the science of breath. || 23 ||
The term "Svara" in these verses refers to the flow of air through the nostrils, which practitioners believe governs all physical and spiritual success.
