In this science of breath original: "Svarodaya", there are no defects or ill-effects caused by the lunar date, the lunar mansion, the day of the week, the planets, the deities, or inauspicious astrological timings like Bhadra, Vyatipata, or Vaidhriti. || 29 ||
There is no "bad timing" original: "Kuyoga" here, O Goddess, nor will there ever be. When the pure strength of the breath is attained, every result is auspicious. || 30 ||
O Goddess! In this practice, there is no such thing as an inauspicious alignment, nor will there ever be; when the pure strength of the breath is mastered, all outcomes are entirely favorable. || 30 ||
Within the body, there are many forms of channels original: "Nadis"; the pathways of life-force energy spread out extensively. These must be understood daily by the wise for the purpose of self-knowledge. || 31 ||
Within the center of the body, there are many channels of various forms and extensions; the learned should understand them all for the sake of knowing their own physical and spiritual being. || 31 ||
Rising upward from the root-center at the navel like sprouts, seventy-two thousand channels are established within the body. || 32 ||
From the bulbous root original: "Kanda" at the navel location, they emerge like sprouts; seventy-two thousand such channels are situated within the human body. || 32 ||
The Kundalini power the latent spiritual energy resides within these channels, resting in the form of a coiled serpent. From there, ten channels go upward and ten go downward. || 33 ||
The Kundalini power is situated within the channels, lying there in the likeness of a serpent; from that point, ten channels travel upward and ten travel downward. || 33 ||
