In the exiting of the breath, the sound Ha is uttered, and in the entering, the sound Sa. The sound Ha is said to be the form of Shiva The masculine principle of pure consciousness, and the sound Sa is said to be the form of Shakti The feminine principle of primordial energy. || 51 ||
The Moon, which flows through the left channel, stands as the form of Shakti;
The Sun, which flows through the right channel, is the form of Shambhu (Shiva). || 52 ||
And the flow of the left channel Ida Nadi: the lunar energy channel is the Moon existing in the form of Shakti, and the flow (the driver) of the right channel Pingala Nadi: the solar energy channel is Shambhu existing as the Sun. || 52 ||
When the breath is established in the sound Sa, whatever charity is given by the wise,
That charity in this world of living beings shall be multiplied ten-million fold. || 53 ||
When the breath is situated in the Sa syllable the inhalation, at that time, whatever gift a wise person gives, that charity yields ten-million times the fruit in this world. || 53 ||
By this method, the yogi should observe with a one-pointed and composed mind;
He should know everything truly through the paths of the Moon and the Sun. || 54 ||
A yogi with a concentrated and composed (settled) mind should observe through this very path, and should understand everything within the paths of the Moon and the Sun alone. || 54 ||
One should meditate on the Reality when the life-breath is steady, never when it is unsteady.
Success in one's desires, great profit, and victory shall belong to him. || 55 ||
A person should meditate on the Truth Tattva: the fundamental principles of reality at the moment when the life-breath is steady; he should never do so when it is unsteady (restless). By doing this, he achieves the fulfillment of his desires, great benefit, and victory. || 55 ||
Those men who always practice the balancing of the Moon and the Sun,
The knowledge of the past and the future shall fall into their very hands. || 56 ||
