If one sees the holy cities of Prayaga Prayaga: (प्रयाग), the modern city of Prayagraj (Allahabad), where the Ganges and Yamuna rivers meet; a site of immense spiritual purity and Gaya Gaya: (गया), a sacred city in Bihar where pilgrims perform rites for their ancestors in a clear dream, his ancestors original: "pitaras," referring to the spirits of departed forefathers are liberated and cross over to the other side. 61
Whether a dream is seen or its words are heard, one should carefully calculate the sequence of events and their meaning; one should not interpret it in any other way. 62

Kashyapa, Atri, Vashishtha, Angira, Bhrigu, Angottama, Devala, Bharadvaja, Mandavya, and Parashara These are the legendary Vedic Sages (Rishis) credited with establishing various branches of ancient Indian knowledge.—it is through their divine teachings that dreams are understood through various proofs. 67
Thus ends the Chapter on Dreams.
